About IRC Mobile

IRC Mobile is an independently maintained IRC client based on the open-source Goguma project.

IRC Mobile includes additional features, infrastructure and services developed independently for this project, including profile services, media uploads, voice messages, optional subscriptions and related backend services.

IRC Mobile is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially supported by the original Goguma developers. The original Goguma project is used under its applicable open-source license.

Information we process

The application may process information such as:

IRC nickname
IRC username
Selected IRC server
Channel names
Private messages
Channel messages
Profile information
Profile pictures
Voice messages
Images and media uploaded by the user
Connection logs required for diagnostics and abuse prevention
Subscription status received from Google Play Billing

Third-party servers

IRC Mobile is an IRC client. Messages are transmitted through the IRC servers selected by the user. Those servers are operated independently and may maintain their own logging, privacy policies and retention periods.

Media uploads

When users voluntarily upload profile pictures, images or voice messages, those files may be stored on services operated by European.az infrastructure to provide the requested functionality.

Google Play Billing

Optional subscriptions are processed by Google Play. IRC Mobile never stores payment card information. Google may provide purchase status necessary to activate subscriptions.

Local application data remains on the user's device until removed. Media and profile information remain available while required for the service or until removed by the user or administrator.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

IRC Mobile is not specifically intended for children. Users must comply with the minimum age requirements applicable in their country and with the rules of the IRC networks they access.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when application features or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
